Thallon is a high quality olive oil, with a rich fruity flavor from unripe (green) variety olives Chondrolia of Halkidiki , produced only by a mechanical method at ambient temperature (27 degrees Celsius).

In other words, it is a natural olive juice, from fresh and healthy fruits of an early harvest.

Due to its high content of polyphenols, it has the designation of health claim (health claim) , according to European Regulation 432/2012 of the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) .

It has a rich fruity taste, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste and a slight burning in the throat, due to the high content of the substances Oleocanthal and Eliasin , which have an important biological effect and have been attributed anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties.

THALLON safflower oil is of a specific and limited harvest, while its packaging contains the chemical analysis as well as the HEALTH CLAIM certification of the production per year (during its production, it is all stored in a single tank, from where all samples are sent for analyses, certifications, organoleptic tests and tasting competitions).

The olive groves are located in the region of Halkidiki, while the variety of olive from which Thallon is produced is Hondolia Halkidiki , known worldwide for its quality and characteristic taste.

CHARACTERISTICS

ACIDITY

THALLON has a particularly low acidity below 0.3 (< 0.3) so it is classified as a premium extra virgin olive oil

TASTE

THALLON grapeseed oil has all the taste characteristics of the Chondrolia Halkidiki variety, i.e. rich fruity taste with aromatic notes of grass, greens, pepper, tomato and balanced between bitter and spicy. It is recommended to be consumed raw in the morning or as a side dish with salads, boiled or grilled vegetables and grilled meat.
