Rosemary is considered good for good blood circulation and a vision tonic. It is also used as a seasoning in Greek-Mediterranean cuisine in dishes such as fish, grilled meat, salads, etc.

Properties

Rosemary contains volatile oil, flavonoids, tannins, rosmaricin and rosmarinic acid. It is considered a suitable vision tonic, blood circulation tonic, expectorant and helps with cough, asthma, bronchitis and flu. It is also used as a seasoning in Greek - Mediterranean cuisine in dishes such as fish, grilled meat, salads, etc.

Harvest

HOLOMON organic herbs' organic Rosemary is collected from Mount Holomontas in May, just before its flowering, at an altitude of 680m. The selection of herbs is based on their stage of development. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, without inhibiting its growth. The harvesting of suitable stems is done by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.

Standardization

Once the drying of the herbs is complete, the stems are hand-sorted again so that they can be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.

In the Kitchen

It is used on white or red meat, fish and seafood, in baked potatoes or potato salad, in legumes, sauces, traditional pies and soups.

Like a drink

In a cooking pot, heat 200ml or 1 cup of water and when it starts to boil, add 2 teaspoons or 1.5g of Rosemary, then remove from heat and leave covered for about 10 minutes, strain and serve. Drink 1 to 2 cups daily.
