Properties

Echinacea contains essential oils, glycoproteins, polysaccharides, polyenes, vitamin C, oleic acid and flavonoids. It has antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that contribute to the shielding of the immune system. Harvest

The harvest of HOLOMON organic herbs' organic Echinacea begins in June during the flowering period, which lasts all summer months, and ends in September at an altitude of 680m on Mount Holomontas. The selection of herbs is based on their stage of development. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, without inhibiting its growth. The harvesting of suitable stems is done by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.

Standardization

Once the drying of the herbs is complete, the stems are hand-sorted again so that they can be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.

Instructions for Use

10 minutes

Decoction* in a cooking pot, heat 200ml or 1 cup of water and when it starts to boil, add 2 teaspoons or 2 grams of organic Echinacea, then boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat and leave covered for 3-5 minutes, strain and serve. Drink 1 to 3 drinks a day.

Infusion** in a cooking pot, heat 200ml or 1 cup of water and when it starts to boil, add 2 teaspoons or 2 grams of organic Echinacea, then remove from heat and leave covered for 12' - 15' minutes, strain and serve. Drink 1 to 3 drinks per day.

*A decoction is a beverage made by simmering herbs.
**An infusion is a beverage that comes from steeping herbs in boiling water, usually above 90 ⁰C.
